地點還算隱密，除非住在附近，停車上可能會有些困難。。。

This restaurant is located in a residential area near the main NCTU campus, and has been a longtime favorite of all manners of local residents, teachers, and students for anything from casual get-togethers, dates to thank-you dinners. It used to be two different restaurants owned by one lady (the other one was located on the other side of the building), but they merged together when I was in high school.

Not that it's changed the constant flow of people, though!

 

 

店裡的裝潢很具美感，裡面是暗了一點

落地窗外是個水池，雖然不是店家的不過也增添了一些悠閒的情調　

而且！！常常會看到貓去玩水中的錦鯉！！［［重點錯誤

到處都擺著老闆娘的收藏品，大家看到的花草壁畫也都是她親手畫的喔！超強的

廚房採半開放式，我們坐得還算靠近，所以一直～～聞到好香的味道天啊

It's a little dark inside, but you can't miss the ambience. It's not super decorated or upscale, but it definitely feels like a little piece of the Mediterranean has dropped down in Taiwan. Too bad we were too late for the window seat (which has a koi pond outside. I repeat, a KOI POND.) Occasionally you can see a cat around batting at the water. I mean, it needs to eat too, right?

You can see the owner's collection of vases and other decorative objects all around the place. All the flower murals are hand-painted by her! 

There isn't a time limit to how long you can stay, and there are magazines and other books you can browse through while waiting for your meal.

義式就以義麵，排餐，焗飯，烤飯為主，後者為店家推薦餐點

輕食則以薄皮披薩，早餐，三明治，捲食為重點

兩者皆可以加套餐

輕食套餐 = 主食+飲料 OR 湯

義式套餐 = 主食+沙拉(甜OR酸)+湯+麵包+飲料+甜點

當然價錢差別就滿大的，輕食套餐大都在200元以下，義式的都要300元起跳 問我吃了好些年有沒有漲過價，嗯...當然啦XD;;;;;;

As previously mentioned, the restaurant serves two kinds of meals: 'light' meals and 'Italian' full meals. Light meals include dishes like thin-crust pizza, sandwiches, omelettes and the like, while the full meals refer to gratins, pasta, steaks, etc. 

Both kinds of meals can be ordered either a la carte or in a set (which is recommended.) Light sets will come with either a soup or a drink (+30nt), while most full meals are already in a set that includes a drink, soup, bread, salad and dessert (if you just want the main dish it's -50nt off your order.)

老闆娘有營養食品科學的背景，堅持用最新鮮的食材做出健康又好吃的創意料理

濃湯 及 沙拉

湯是蘑菇濃湯，雖說是濃湯但喝起來不會太膩，裡面滿滿的蘑姑及洋蔥，還有一些不知明的香料XD

好高興沒有加黑胡椒= =我很討厭湯裡有它XD

可是湯的重點還沒來...

Here's the soup! Mushroom soup, to be precise. Lots of mushroom and onion in it, and not too salty or filled with black pepper (a lot of 'western' restaurants tend to do that here for some reason...?) It might not be as creamy as it looks, but pretty flavorful and healthier than alternatives, I'd think.

 

醋醬沙拉

嗯...很健康的一碗XD

醬很清爽，吃起來完全無負擔! 是可以再入味一些些，感覺有點淡

You have two choices of salad: sweet or sour (vinagrette.) I don't really like sweet salads unless it's full of fruit (hint: it's not), so I went with the latter.

It's.....very healthy. Which translates to light. You can definitely taste the vinagrette, but its presence isn't too flaunted here.

 

烤麵包!! 是烤麵包!!!!

為什麼明明就是大X發的法國麵包還可以這麼酥這麼好吃!!!

上面淋了很香的橄欖油及起司粉

可以無限續盤XD

好了，重點來了。。。

BREAD.

I love bread. Especially toasted French bread with parmesan shavings and olive oil. Mmmmmmm. You can ask for as much bread as you want if this isn't enough to fill you up! I mean you shouldn't, because there's the main course, but whatever, man. Bread is life.

很難得點了素的東西XD　起司沒怎麼牽絲，不過料給的很實在

被他很慢條斯理地吃完了

My brother got this, so I have no idea how it tastes. It does look pretty as a photo though...?

At the very least, there's a lot of both tomato and basil in it.

 

墨西哥辣味披薩　＄１７０

上面有辣牛肉，九層塔，洋蔥，蕃茄，很豐富

是真的會辣喔，不怕辣又不想吃太多的朋友可以試試

我覺得還滿和我胃口的

餅皮外酥內軟，花邊的外皮也太可愛了吧ＸＤ

Mexican spicy pizza, $170

The toppings include spicy ground beef, basil, onions and tomatoes.

It's actually pretty spicy, more so than I expected anyway. A good choice for spicy-lovers and people who don't want to eat too big of a meal (like my mom.)

I especially like how crisp the crust is...and the frills are a nice touch, haha.

 

重點又來了一個！！青醬雞柳麵　＄３２０

用的是台灣的九層塔而非蘿勒，乾炒後的醬汁完全吸附在麵條上面

加上起司粉真的不錯吃

麵有點硬度，不是一咬就斷的，我很喜歡

而且～～雞柳也給的有夠多！！如果稍微多汁一點就好了，這樣吃到後來會有些乾

（其實我以前很討厭九層塔的不過今天吃下來吃了好多ＸＤＤ）

如果大學附近有賣價格親民一點的青醬麵就好了啊呀，好像真的只能回家才吃得到有水準的～

Chicken Pesto Pasta, $320

If you know me, you'd probably know I love pesto. Too bad I haven't found any good places that sell it (apart from one burger place...but really, pesto belongs on pasta, imo) near uni.

I love how the sauce completely clings to the pasta, and how it's chewy instead of soft--not quite al dente, but close enough. The chicken could be a little juicier, but there was a lot of it, so I'm not complaining.

嗯，料很多

至於是什麼料我就不知道了ＸＤ看起來是有魷魚？

最後她又沒吃完打包了ＸＤ

There's a lot of toppings, but I'm not sure what they are...? There's definitely tomato and celery though (because I saw her picking those out...) as well as calamari.

 

甜點是莓果奶酪

酸酸甜甜的很消暑

Dessert was strawberry ice panna cotta ... at least, I think it was strawberry? Great for a hot summer day.

完全不甜，很健康ＸＤＤＤ

No sugar in this one, a horror to most North Carolinians probably. XDD

 

這家，真的是我從小吃到大的，就算到了國外看到滿街都是義式餐廳都還會想念啊。

它可能不是我吃過＂最好吃＂的義大利麵，不過它可以撐這麼久不是沒有理由的，換過店面後生意還與往常一般

這次星期五中午拜訪，還好早了一點點去要不然就沒位子啦，人真的好多ＸＤ
